We sell to low-income, urban households that do not have toilets a lasting sanitation solution. Our customer oriented product and service bring an instant improvement to their lives.
Where water is scarce, conventional sewer systems cannot provide socially and ecologically responsible sanitation. Sanitary practices such as using bucket toilets or pit latrines have been proven to be unreliable and inconvenient in the urban realm.
Affected inhabitants have to deal with various diseases due to poor hygiene, they struggle with stigmas and social exclusion and carry economic burdens. Their land and waters are polluted – their homes and neighbourhoods become inhabitable.
x-runner provides a sanitation system that works without piping or sewers. It operates over ground and is therefore well controlled. With our system we manage to keep human waste out of waters and to keep neighborhoods clean.
