You may have noticed that there has not been a lot of activity on our page for the past months. But we’re back now, and ready to share some news with you!
As you may remember, last year we were researching and testing our sanitation system in India. For a number of reasons, however, we had to pause our operations there. We began looking for new locations and quickly settled for Lima, Peru! Since then, our half-peruvian teammate, Isabel, has been preparing the grounds for our transfer.
We’re now busy working on our first x-runner pilot: we’ve found a community for our testing, we’re building a great team here, and together with our local partner we’re developing a full-cycle test run to take place this summer (or winter in Peru).
We look forward to telling you about our continuing journey through mobile, private and dignified sanitation for the urban poor – and hope you will join us!
For now – welcome to Lima, Perú!
Jessi and Isabel
